Unpolished & Unapologetic: A Modern Muse’s Guide

Unpolished and Unapologetic: A Modern Muse's Guide to December

December 2025 | ISSUE 10

Winter arrived in a major way this month, bringing the joy of the holidays, some of the coldest days of the year, and a few new iconic pieces at AARYAH. As we close out 2025, we’re feeling especially grateful for our muses and the community we’ve built together. We’ve loved sharing our monthly mood boards, filled with our team’s recommendations and the little intentional things that spark joy. Here’s to another year of living unpolished and unapologetic.

women wearing balaclavas and woolly scarves

IN OUR CLOSETS:
Grandma's Balaclava

This style piece has carried us through the start of New York December, and we know every cold-weather woman feels the same. We’re loving balaclavas and all the snuggly vibes they bring, even if they make us look a bit like your nana. It’s the perfect combination of function and fashion.

holiday bouquets with holly sprigs

IN OUR VASES:
Sprigs of Holly

This month, we’re ditching flowers for a whole new berry. The vibrant scarlet red of fresh holly berries adds warmth and color to any arrangement while feeling perfectly seasonal. Ancient Celts, Druids, and Norse believed holly could ward off evil and bring good luck, and with 2026 on the way, we’re happy to embrace the tradition.

various methods of hydration and healthy skin rituals

ON OUR MOOD BOARDS:
Hydrated Girl Winter

With the colder months comes dry skin, and this year we’re putting an end to the flaking, cracking, and chapping. Now’s the time to stock up on good-for-your-skin essentials like face creams, lip balms, and hand salves, and to keep your water bottles filled. It’s also the perfect moment to try out new saunas and bathhouses in your area to give your skin a little extra love. If you’re in NYC, we recommend this one.

the nutcracker ballet and ballerinas

ON OUR TO GO LIST:
The Nutcracker Ballet

Embrace the season with a trip to see The Nutcracker ballet in NYC. Our Marketing Lead recently attended an early rehearsal of this year’s lead ballerinas at Lincoln Center, and you’re in for a treat. “If the music and the grace of the performers doesn’t blow you away,” she says, “the intricate costumes and backdrops definitely will.” Snag a ticket and soak in the winter magic before they sell out.

The Druex Necklace from AARYAH

ON OUR WISH LISTS:
The DRUEX Necklace

Our new DRUEX lariat necklace is unlike anything else in our lineup. Featuring a hexagonal diamond at the clavicle that cascades into two more dangling diamonds, this multi-shape piece is all about the abstract. Made to be worn dressed up or down, our team loves it with a simple white tee. DRUEX has definitely earned her spot on our wish list.
