A Morning with The Bridal Journey: NYBFW Recap
Our favorite week of spring each year is filled with white eyelet lace, diamonds set in unexpected silhouettes, and the wedding industry’s most creative professionals rushing around Manhattan to discover what’s new for this year’s brides. As we thought about how we wanted to be part of New York Bridal Fashion Week this April, our minds instantly went to our friends at The Bridal Journey.
A go-to for any Pinterest-trained bride, The Bridal Journey is known for its iconic coverage of inspired bridal trends, top-notch vendors, and everything the cool girls need to plan the wedding of their dreams. Together, we curated an intimate morning at The Cuna Bar at The Standard East Village with press, tastemakers, and friends to celebrate the modern bride amongst our collection of natural colored diamond engagement rings, glasses of NA bubbly from Society de la Rassi, and conversations about how our industry is evolving in 2026.

On April 7th, we welcomed guests to let the coffee flow as they eased into their first day of Bridal Week, hoping to create a space that felt equal parts relaxing and inspiring amidst the chaos of the city. Baobab Collection filled the room with decadent scents through subtle diffusers and the most elegant candles we’ve ever seen, which guests later tucked into their goody bags to bring home with them.

Our team had the best time encouraging guests to try on our selection of rings, both new and old, and watching their eyes sparkle with each new discovery. Our spring engagement ring drop includes some of our most iconic and bestselling settings, like our signature tapered MAE rings, alongside brand new designs like the NIX 3.71. One thing became very clear after a morning spent watching men and women play with our jewelry: no one can resist the allure of a diamond created purely by Mother Nature herself. It’s a pull unlike any other.

We are so grateful to host events like this with our bridal family from all over the world. The Bridal Journey helped us create a beautiful moment of discovery and connection that we are so excited to share here with all of you. Bridal today feels more personal than ever, and we couldn’t be happier to help brides find rings that speak to their stories most.

As we come away from an inspiring week guided by industry experts, here are the trends we’re most excited to see coming to life for our brides-to-be.
Personal Touches
Brides are looking to weave pieces of themselves into every aspect of their special day, and it’s showing up everywhere — from hand-embroidered veils to custom gemstones embedded into wedding bands. And let’s not forget the groom. Secret engravings tucked inside rings have become a go-to here at AARYAH, and we think it might be the sweetest detail of all.

Natural Colored Diamonds
The cool girls are leaning toward nontraditional rings, and it starts with thinking beyond white diamonds. Deep browns, tonal nudes, and buttery yellows are our specialty, and this year we’ve seen a major increase in clients asking for naturally colored stones not only in engagement rings, but also in everyday pieces like hand chains, studs, and pinky rings. What was once viewed by the industry as imperfect is now being embraced as a mark of natural beauty and earth-made elegance.

Simple Bridal Jewelry
Gone are the days of over-the-top chandelier earrings and ultra-blinged bridal styling. Across presentations this season, we noticed brands embracing subtle jewelry looks that allow the bride’s natural beauty to shine through. Think demure studs like our Mini KNOX earrings or delicate diamond bracelets like our Bubble Bezel bracelet — pieces you can stack and wear again and again long after saying “I do.”
